Association Committees

Advisory Committees

Advisory Committees were established by General Resolution 87-6 Advisory Committees (page III-43)

Community Activities Committee

This committee shall be responsible for advising and assisting the Board in keeping residents informed about the purpose and functions o the Association and community programs and activities. Committee activities in this area may involve the following: providing assistance to the Board and Management Agent in compiling the Association's newsletter; developing information packages and programs for new residents; developing a community directory and assisting in the orientation of future residents. A second function of the committee will be to develop community social and recreational programs which are responsive to the needs and interests of the community.

Assets Management Committee

The function of this committee is to provide advice and assistance to the Board related to the following areas; preparation of the annual Association operating budget; development of financial investment strategies; development of policies for maintenance and enhancement of the common areas and facilities; development of programs and policies to promote the safety and security of the community, review existing rules and regulations and propose modifications or additions to them as needed.

Architectural Review Board

The Architectural Review Board was established by Bylaws Article IX. The Architectural Review Board shall regulated the external design, appearance, and locations of the properties and improvements thereon in such a manner so as to preserve and enhance values and to maintain a harmonious relationship among structures and the natural vegetation and topography.

Elections Committee

The Elections Committee was established by Bylaws Article VIII: The Board of Trustees shall appoint an Elections Committee not later than two months prior to the annual meeting dates. The Committee shall consist of a chairman who may not be a Trustee, and at least four members, none of whom shall be candidates for office. It shall be the duty of the Committee to provide supervision of the nomination and elections of Trustees and Neighborhood Boards in accordance with procedures adopted by the Board and placed in the book of resolutions.

Parking Committee

The Parking Committee was established by the Board of Trustees to investigate parking conditions, consider community suggestions and recommend improvements. The Parking Committee worked May 2016-May 2017 investigating recommendations from the community (View summary) and briefed findings to the Board of Trustees and to the community (View findings) .
